You're Allowed to Want What You Want

What if you just let it be ok that you want what you want? What if you stopped doing that thing where you know you want what you want, then you tell yourself you shouldn't want what you want and then you keep wanting it anyway because...it's what you actually want?

What if you let go of that part of yourself that says you're bad or selfish or greedy for wanting what you want? What if you just let it be ok that who you are is who you are and your desires are okay?

What if you let it be ok that you want to do work that matters and make money? And yes, good money.

What if you let it be ok that you want to make a name for yourself?

What if you let it be ok that you want to be seen, to be known, to be recognised for what you do?

What if you let it be ok that you only want to do the work you want to do with the people you want to do it with?

What if you let it be ok that you dream of massive success in this life?

What if you let it be ok that you want your work to be global?

What if you stopped demonising every little thing you desire and keeping yourself stuck and small out of some misplaced belief that your desires are things a good human being who wants to do good things for the planet shouldn't want?

There are all types of people in this world. Some people want to be out there, on stage, performing, in front of people. Some people can't imagine anything worse. It's all valuable. It's all worthy.

The way you want to create your life doesn't make you better or worse than the next person. It's simply a reflection of your unique personality, gifts and talents. And that's what we need.

We need you to be ok with being you. We need you to want what you want, own what you want, accept what you want and go out and claim what you want. Because when you're pushing away the things that call to you and who you really want to be in the world, you won't ever make the impact you could truly make.

Only when you acknowledge what you want, accept what you want, and stop making those things bad, will we get to feel the full force of your being in this world. And with it, your full impact.

You can make a huge difference. But not if you're shying away from who you really are out of some twisted idea that the things you want make you a bad person.

Love and courage,

Leah
